![]() That's what I get for cutting and pasting old code. And thanks for catching my incorrect payload in color. ![]() Maybe I should just be able to switch between. Dec is easier for python to parse and for people to understand, but its also more to type. Yeah, I'm back and forth on color implementation concerning hex versus dec versus names. Is the intended behavior switching mode, then ambient type, then ambient scene? What are you thoughts on that behavior? Also, the DS seems to be able to switch automatically to ambient scene mode sometimes without explicitly switching the mode (which is why i commented it out). There has to be a better way, so that's why I'm still debugging it. The 2 seconds is pretty long, however a 1 second delay gave me a white screen and locked up my DS's ambient scene settings and I had to use my phone to get it working again. So I was trying to limit the user's knowledge of the how the DS works, so some commands, like Ambient Scenes and Color, will send multiple commands for the single call. Changing Scenes (still debugging edge cases, had to add a delay).Automate with your android phone SL4A and Tasker(the script should work there too as it only imports sys, socket, optparse, and time).Do Voice UI (Alexa-styled) control of the Dreamscreen (Windows Speech Marcos, Jasper).Use Dreamscreen as a light with with your smart home instance and a raspberry pi (full features coming soon).Control your Dreamscreen inputs with a Harmony remote control - no phone needed!.Automatically adjust Dreamscreen brightness based on room ambient brightness. Here are some cool ideas for you to play with: This is also my first contribution on my personal Github for a wider community, so I added a poll for quick feedback to help me for next repo. ![]() On my end, I'm going to be using a Raspberry Pi, FLIRC, and a Harmony remote (or Alexa + Harmony Hub) with it. My weekend project this weekend was the create a back end Python script that lets you command your DreamScreen Wifi using options.
